. I think it's ok if 1. you don't intend to use the ring to actually hold and/or carry the phone and 2. you don't mind finding the edge of the ring to actually use the thing . I've dropped my iPhone with the ring on a couple of times because it accidentally detaches even though I didn't put too much weight/load on it. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to pick up the ring without looking at it and concentrating on the task, which is SUPER annoying. I don't really have many good words to say about this little device, if you think about it. Oh wait - I know! It works well as a stand if it's in the right spot and you don't touch it in the slightest once it's set up. hard pass.
