We ordered 4 mats for my daughter's gymnastics and we had her about 8 months. We use them on the parquet floor or store them in a closet. We've spread them out for the past few days, and three times I've stepped on them, feeling like I've been pricked with a needle. We cleaned, looked and found nothing. Today I was walking on the mat and felt a pinprick in my heel - this time there was blood on the mat. When we pressed the bloodstain, a sewing needle came out! (We don't sew or store these pins, so I'm pretty sure they were left over from production. Also, there was only a hole in the styrofoam that we pulled the pin out of.) Buyers beware. The other three mats seem to be good, but I'm very worried about the production quality assurance.
