I bought these as boat boots. They're great for that. I used to wear old sneakers because the extra cushion helped my back when I was boating all day. The foam in a lightweight shoe has a lot more cushioning than a traditional crocodile midsole. These shoes have no lining or anything that absorbs water, so they dry quickly and don't smell. They breathe well so my feet stay cool. Super happy with it.
