I'm new to kite flying so do what you want. The prism flies well enough, I'm just not thrilled with the material it's made of. Any moment it seems that a strong wind or even folding it up to put it away will tear it to shreds. It hasn't happened yet, so maybe it's more durable than I think. At first I liked the ring-shaped coil, but there's no place to tie it down like there are with more traditional coils. You have to hold on to it the whole time, otherwise the line will keep paying.
