I bought this gate to keep my pup away from the Christmas tree. We waited for his arrival that same day. The doorbell rang and I knew the gate had arrived. I was downstairs and my husband took it out of the box and put it around the tree. When I walk up the stairs, I immediately smell this horrible, overpowering smell. The closer I got, the stronger. The smell of the gate was sickening. We left the box, put the box in the garage and it smelled like a garage. We had no choice but to let the smell of the gate pass because either the tree had to be felled or the gate left around it. We probably inhaled toxins. The doors themselves are of good quality. It comes with two legs that you can place anywhere. Feet don't really fit and don't touch the ground for better stability.
