I love these little things. I use them to hold pieces of fabric in place for a variety of sewing projects from clothing to quilts to quilt bags. In many cases, they've eliminated the need for pinning, which I find tedious. They hold the pieces together tightly and are great for hemming, sewing, logistically managing all the details when assembling blocks for quilting and then joining the blocks in rows, and even (if you're careful how you place the clips like this do not melt iron) folding and pressing the strips.
