Etekcity ESL100 lamps are easy to install and set up. I believe these are high quality bulbs with easy setup. Just make sure you have everything ready - correct registered application login, network password, an idea of what you want to name the lightbulbs. If you need to reset the lightbulb, it's easy to turn on the light and turn it off three times, then the lights will flash. During setup, I found out that my laptop only supports 2.4GHz networks, which is great for lightbulbs that can't be used on the 5.0GHz network. I'd advise sticking to one company for lightbulbs, otherwise, like me, you'll have three different uses. You'll need to set it up through the app the company uses before switching to Alexa. If anyone figured out how to wire lightbulbs just to Alexa I'd love to know. * If this is your first time and you have Comcast or Xfinity, both networks may have the same name if you only see one network. I had to call Xfinity so they could rename both networks, it makes life a lot easier. If you cannot connect your laptop or computer after renaming, please check if your laptop or computer model supports Network 5.0. I thought mine made this a newer laptop. So if you're connecting smart devices, that's good to know. I spent 5 hours with Dell, they couldn't figure out the problem until the next day. I hope this information is helpful to someone so they don't waste the time I wasted. I am very happy with the lightbulbs, I will change the lightbulbs in this company when other lightbulbs burn out.
