Great Breastfeeding Storage Bags

I love these breast milk storage bags. I haven't had any problems with them. I use a Lansinoh electric breast pump and when I'm done I just pull the tab off the bag, open it up, pinch the ends of the zipper and pour the expressed milk into the bag. Then I try to let out most of the air and close the bag. On the outer edge there is a space where you can write your name, date, time and the amount saved. Since it is outside, the stored milk never touches the ink when pouring. When I pour out the accumulated milk, I once again pinch the ends of the zipper and use one of the curved sides as a spout. It works great and I've never had a problem with milk not making it into the bottle. When I store my milk cartons, I put them in the freezer and use the First Years Milk Organizer. It compresses the pockets so I can pack more space. A few words about sizes. If you don't know the exact amount of expressed milk before putting it in the pouch, your measurements may be wrong. Before pouring the milk into the pouch I would first suggest dropping the bottom of the pouch which folds flat for storage prior to use. If you don't, your measurements will most likely be off by about 1 ounce. If you pull the tab down and then pour in the milk, I would recommend reading the measurement and then subtracting 1/2 an ounce from it. I've found my measurements to be much more accurate when I do this. Size markings go up to 6 ounces, but these bags can hold up to 12 ounces.
