🍼 Lansinoh Breast Milk Storage Bags 50: Keep Your Liquid Gold Fresh and Secure Review

I've only had good experiences with Lansinoh bags. I used them when traveling and had to put them in my small Medela fridge. At home I put them in the freezer first and then in a plastic container. I thaw them in the fridge right on the shelf and haven't had any leaking issues. I'm confused as to why the labels are printed in the direction they are facing - it would be more intuitive to flip the text the other way.

I bought 200 of these because of the price as I pump a lot for a friend's adopted daughter as well as my own 7 month old's daughter, my second child. I love the double zip and find them more durable than Gerber bags. I haven't had any leakage issues and I freeze the milk and then thaw it under warm water just before using (like my friend does). I've just finished my first pack of 50 and I think it's great value for a great bag.

These Lansinoh bags are the best. Super strong, never leaked, freezes well and thaws in hot water with no issues. I've tried the Medelas that came with my pump-in style and have been repeatedly disappointed with how easily they tear and leak. These milk storage bags have worked great for the last 6 months that I've been using them. No leaks or problems. The double seal conveys a sense of security. However, I am very careful not to "bang” the packages in the freezer. I can't imagine a plastic bag being constantly being pushed around by other items in the freezer. I've been using these bags for about 2-3 months (about 700 bags?) and there was only one small leak. I'm not sure why others are reporting issues with leaks. I express my milk in Medela plastic bottles, place the Lansinoh storage bag in a large plastic cup so it stands upright, pour the milk into the bag and squeeze out as much air as possible before sealing the bag. I love these breast milk storage bags. I haven't had any problems with them. I use a Lansinoh electric breast pump and when I'm done I just pull the tab off the bag, open it up, pinch the ends of the zipper and pour the expressed milk into the bag. Then I try to let out most of the air and close the bag. On the outer edge there is a space where you can write your name, date, time and the amount saved.
