Review on Grey Umbra Flex Drain Stopper and Hair Catcher by Luis Tuazon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works fairly well with tools and accessories

I have an open drain (in a rented apartment with a shower/bathtub) with a silver rod sticking out from just below in the center to work with a fork. But the switch to clog the drain does not work. So my landlord provided a rubber stopper with a metal hook on top to try and solve the problem of a drain that can't be completely clogged and YET isn't working. I also have long thin thin hair that falls out quite often. So, instead of letting my hair clog the drain, and since I really wanted to use the tub on certain occasions, I bought this drain plug. Let me tell you that she's perfect for what I need her for. It fits snugly in the bottom of my tub and prevents anyone from getting under it, the middle section catches all my hair and the top valve folds down to prevent water from escaping when I want to take a bath. The only thing is that you have to clean it regularly, otherwise the hair will get so caught between the knob that holds it together at the top and the drain part underneath that you can just break the drain. part, and then you have to buy a new one. My first one broke and I had to replace it. Luckily this thing is pretty cheap so I'm not complaining. Just take care of him and he will take care of you.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
