Kalgon, take me. after all!

Perfect for our needs. I bought two, they fit the sink perfectly, they don't stick or soak down a dry tub/drain but are wide enough to cover and seem to stay in place well when we fill the tub. Pressure and water keep them in place. They pop up easily so they don't need to be removed, which in my house means they're available when needed and don't "get lost". 😉

Thank you Umbra! for tools and supplies

I have an old 1960's bathtub that was renovated, doesn't have a snap and is too old/rusted to fit a new one. This is the only product I have found that allows me to hold the plug over the drain while draining. It's strong enough to hold a tub full of water, yet can be easily removed or left in place. Draining is as easy as a quick tap on the center, and my tub looks so much better with the drain capped with this sleek white stopper!

Drain Plug - Hard-to-Remove Hair

Trying to remove hair from the center takes several tries - the hair gets caught on the metal rod that connects the top and bottom. I also noticed that the silicone keeps dirt and other pink stuff under the lower visor. I haven't taken a bath with it, but I suspect that due to the space underneath, water could leak. In general, it doesn't dry very long after a shower, so it's just terrible. If you're looking for a hair strainer, I think Tubshroom works better.

Hair that is difficult to brush off

UPDATE: After 2 months of use, the drain is rusty due to water accumulation under the product. The husband noticed that some type of water seems to be getting stuck and sitting under the drain plug all the time. While I liked the product, I would strongly NOT recommend it. It's really easy to use and catches hairs pretty well, but the hair removal is a pain in the ass for getting hairs out of the drain. He turns around a few times and gets tangled. Although I like this product overall, it is…

Great Hair Catcher for Tools & Accessories

I've had this for a few months now. I mostly use it in the shower and lately I've noticed that my bath drains slower afterwards. I pulled this thing out and noticed huge clumps of hair hanging down from the inside. I cleaned it, threw out the hair and put it back. Problem solved. OK, I'm convinced! I didn't consider it a cork, but I don't actually take a bath. However, I could see that it doesn't work as a stopper when there are large clumps of hair hanging from the inside. I think it's best to

Works great, heavy duty plastic

I have bought cheaper versions of this type of drain plug elsewhere; they broke pretty quickly. This is twice the price, but it's made of heavier plastic and will last a lot longer. It's worth the extra cost. I also like that it seals the drain perfectly and literally catches every hair. I have very long, thick hair. When I'm not using it, my drain is constantly clogged, and what could be harder than clearing a clogged drain?! This item works perfectly and is of high quality. I literally gave…

Works fairly well with tools and accessories

I have an open drain (in a rented apartment with a shower/bathtub) with a silver rod sticking out from just below in the center to work with a fork. But the switch to clog the drain does not work. So my landlord provided a rubber stopper with a metal hook on top to try and solve the problem of a drain that can't be completely clogged and YET isn't working. I also have long thin thin hair that falls out quite often. So, instead of letting my hair clog the drain, and since I really wanted to use…
