My 12 year old Dyson stopped picking up the phone like he used to. I removed the whipping brush and cleaned it; but from my socks on the light carpet in the bedroom there were still small black fluffs: very annoying. Then it dawned on me: I hadn't cleaned the HEPA filter in years! When I took it out, I noticed that the foam was dirty, as was the vinyl screen. I tried deleting them; but the foam filter began to deteriorate. Found this two pack replacement for the Revain and was delighted with the performance of my old Dyson! I even rated the replacement vacuum before I received it. I'm glad I tried it first. And now I can clean one and put the other in the machine while the cleaned one dries as they come in packs of two.
