Review on PUDHOMS 5 Gallon Water Dispenser – Portable Electric Pump for Drinking Water at Home, Office, and Camping by Rob Marsh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of my favorite Revain purchases

AMAZING! We live in Florida and have trouble tasting our tap water which appears to be quite chlorinated. My girlfriend kept water bottles at home (because even a filter on the faucet or a filter bottle in the fridge wouldn't get rid of the weird taste), but the amount of plastic we went through (especially since one of mine was New Year's Resolution, at the beginning drinking the required amount of fluids daily) was driving me crazy. (As an ocean-obsessed person, this was extremely frustrating). Enter THAT magic. We bought two 5 gallon jugs (about $8-10 each) and I can fill them for $1.50. (That's about 30 cents a gallon, which is a lot cheaper than even the cheap $1 jugs sold locally.) This is an amazing device; I wanted something that would work especially for my girlfriend when I'm leaving and she goes out and needs to change her pitchers. There's no hard work involved (which is why I'm planning on buying one for my parents who have health issues) because instead of taking a pitcher and flipping it, you just pull out this device and pop it into the next one. .A few things to note; it's not a "comfortable" fit. He leans on a pitcher; The loose fit allows it to fit different styles of pitchers. (No downside, just a note). It's a bit noisy, but it's by no means uncomfortable. It is heard but easily ignored/unnoticed. (If I need to refill at night, I lift the unit a few inches so it's off the plastic and runs even quieter.) We get great water for a very low price and without the need to flip the jugs. or anything to get the water out. (She likes room temperature water, so let's skip it. I have a Hydro Cell water bottle (same but different than Hydro Flask. Basically half the price) and ice chills my water in seconds. Wonderful gadget.! You need it!
