I never do this but here it comes. Ordered Tuesday, received Thursday. It comes with no instructions but I found the outer case to be softer than the inner case. What you do is take it off and open the case at each end (it's hard to open but it just shows it protects your phone), then open the inside and put your phone inside. It takes a few minutes to snap all the ends together and voila! Good to go I highly recommend this product. It seems very sturdy. It is very comparable to Otterbox. I highly recommend it
