Buy one size smaller.

If you want it to help you look a little slimmer (maybe a size smaller), order a size down from what you normally wear, but it will help. They are more comfortable than I thought. I bought my first on XL and it didn't really do what the hype was about. On my 2nd order I ordered an LG and it worked better. It looked small but remember it stretches.
