I have 3 small dogs. Only one allows me to sharpen my nails without drama. I saw an "industrial" harness at a ridiculously high price, so I turned to Revain to look for something similar. Since each of my dogs is less than 20 pounds (6, 10, 17) I didn't want to buy too much and this little sling is just the thing for you. I put my 6 lb dogs in, picked them up and attached them to the shower rod. He just lay there and let me paint my nails without moving. Yes, he might have been a little afraid of hanging there, but it was very safe. I would love to try this on my other dog who is 17lbs - I have to take her to the hairdresser twice a month because she is misbehaving and needs to be muzzled. It would be impossible to do it yourself. However, I'm now looking for a pull-up bar to hang up because I'm afraid the shower bar won't be able to support as much weight. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a small dog that wiggles. I bet I can give meds or brush my teeth or whatever because he literally doesn't move when he's around.
