After the first modeling, it caused pressure on the front teeth, which caused pain in the teeth and discomfort in the shoulder area due to friction. I emailed the company first to confirm that it is non-refundable as it is open and that they are helping with the adjustment. I remolded to ensure it was a 'loose fit' and the pain and discomfort was still there, the subsequent adjustment and the decision was made to change the guard to a different thickness, the only change being the would be thick. Another edit made. To make sure it was loose I wore it during the day it wouldn't hurt so I wore it at night after it actually moved one of my front teeth back the first night. This time the bite closure made contact with the lower tooth well before the closed bite. I have refused to send a thinner replacement guard as I had an issue with the movement of the teeth and the bite it caused. I would not recommend this product. No installation guarantee included which I knew when I ordered and needed something so I gambled 34.99 that it would be the same as on the market. It also says "FDA Approved" on the packaging.
