This works great and I was able to use it to transfer a few 100GB photos from the cards to my computer's hard drive (the computer has a USB -C connector) - Also works well for checking photos on my phone. However, inserting SD cards into the reader is a bit tricky. The regular SD slot has two pieces of gray plastic that block access, requiring you to insert the card at an awkward angle before you can insert it straight in to insert it. It took about 5 minutes the first time, then faster once I figured out the issue, but still a pain. The micro SD slot is suitable for inserting cards.
