I ordered a medium for an adult female pug, the size seems too small. It stretches but my dog doesn't like tight clothes. If you have a large breed like a Boston Terrier, French Bulldog, or Pug, the average size might be a bit small. For what it's worth, my pug won't wear clothes for more than an hour without trying to take them off. I've got a few photos and a good laugh, but I'm not forcing them to wear them. My sheltie wears them without actively trying to take them off, but this jumpsuit is too small for her. She is very active and without perfectly fitting clothes she loses her outfits while running.
