My 2002 Chrysler Town and Country was sold before daytime running lights became popular. These lamps do their job very well. If, like me, you drive with your parking lights on during the day, they're bright enough to be seen in bright sunlight. Although the LED elements are mounted radially, there is a magnifying glass at the top that projects the light out the front of the car. I also like the feature that turns off the white sidelight when a turn signal is selected so you only get the amber off sequence. Makes the indicator more visible. The only downside, and then a small one, is that the turn signal is faster. I know I could use a resistor, but then what's the purpose of using less current? I bought a low power flashing light. I'll post back with details when it's installed so you know how it works.
