Yes, as mentioned, red towels leave stains, but these aren't harmless stains, but the kind that what you wipe leaves behind is worse. For example: car windows are dirty (then check with a white paper towel how much red paint is on it). After using them to clean my bike frame I had to stop because while the dirt was being removed the redness it left behind was even worse. Today I gave in and put all the towels in the washing machine on a long hot cycle with bleach and I'm going to do it twice. I should get a partial refund for wasted time and energy. The bluish ones are ok, but I paid for two boxes, not one. Do yourself a favor and find towels that don't bleed as profusely.
