Works well, well built and very easy to use. The spring-loaded battery terminals are comfortable to the touch and not flimsy. It doesn't have super bright LEDs to keep you up at night. This continues until FINISH appears on the display. With USB power delivery, don't expect your batteries to be fully charged quickly. Simple and carefree. Does not heat up when fully charged with batteries, unlike some chargers. It contains 4 D-Cells so I run two of them to charge 8 at the same time. Other D-Cell volumetric charges get pretty hot and make you very jittery so they can run unattended. I've also connected them to a foldable solar panel via a USB cable with great results. Just don't get it wet or clog it with dirt/dust.
