Well, like you, I've put off buying the right tire spades for my motorcycle tires. My old 2 small mounts work fine. Yes, it's so long between tire changes or tire repairs that I FORGOT how hard it is to pop that damn tire on and off without damaging anything. This style has been researched and found to be preferred by those who are constantly changing bike tires. I chose these as they seemed to be everything but some of the 'famous brand' 1/2 price tire spoons. I know SOMETIMES you get what you pay for. This is a welcome exception to that rule. They are very well made and have a good fit and finish. Highly polished so they're unlikely to damage your wheel, tire or tube (if you're doing your thing). Comes with a nice carrying case and extra air valves and lids as a bonus. I am very satisfied with this kit
