Review on 🐾 K&H PET PRODUCTS Gray Self-Warming Crate Pad by Brandy Young

So arrived yesterday and HUGE. Love it! I bought XXLarge for my Great Pyrenees. My dog wants to be outside all the time, but I usually let him stay home at night when it gets really cold. I'm afraid I'll fall asleep one day after he's asked to come out and I wish he had something to keep him warm if it gets too cold while he's there. I live in Georgia, but it's been getting cold here lately. So I took this thing out of the box and wanted to make sure it worked. First, the fabric side is REALLY soft - my kids hugged it. The bottom is textured to prevent slipping. I decided to see it for myself, spread it out on my bed and slept on it for the first part of the night. I could feel warmth, just soft, tender warmth where my body lay on the mat. Around midnight the dog wanted out, so I took the rug out onto the patio and put it on his bed there. When I picked it up a few hours later he curled up right on it - so I'm pretty sure he loves it! All in all a good buy although I wouldn't rely on it to keep my dog warm in extreme temperatures for dogs not used to the real cold. However, it's good for short periods of time when your dog wants to be stubborn outside.
