Overall Good Product

This product is ideal for moderately cool temperatures but not for winter temperatures if you intend to use it outdoors. We used this pillow for a stray cat who was basically living in our backyard (we are unable to accommodate her at this time) while we wait to find her a home. It worked well until the onset of winter temperatures. We order a heating pad that is powered to keep him warm in wintry temperatures. If you plan to only use this product indoors and not use electricity, this pad is…

My feral kittens love these things

I really needed something to keep my feral kittens warm during the winter. I live in New Jersey and it can get very cold here. I bought 2 heated K&H cat houses (amazing btw, but they only put out 20 watts of heat, which isn't enough when the temperature drops below 20 degrees in strong winds). So I decided to buy 2 heating mats for my house. Well, kittens love it and are almost never home (only during breakfast or dinner). Worth the money and investment, very happy with the purchase!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Older Labrador Retriever Approved

My 11 year old Labrador Retriever gets arthritis. I bought this pillow hoping it would keep him warm on our cold nights and it is. It's not the intense heat you get from a heating pad, but a constant, gentle warmth. The pad itself is a little thinner than I expected and I'm not sure how it will feel on a wire or cement floored kennel. Louie, my spoiled lazy labrador, sleeps on our couch and the bedding is perfect for him. He's very soft, which he likes. As it stands, the carpet should be very…

NOT durable, let alone chewable, let alone durable.

Unfortunately it makes a squeaky noise which must have made my dog think it was a chew toy, she completely destroyed it within minutes. She's a 25-pound Blue Heeler/Husky mix, not a big dog at all, and had no problem chewing her without hesitation. I picked up small chunks of infill and a sheet of metal plastic from my yard as if it had exploded. It's probably not safe for the dog. Maybe good for a cat or an older, softer dog, but not for tough or more active dogs.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Damaged

So far, so good.

The Boston Terrier is a big baby, when he's cold he's been taking it for about a month and now doesn't shake in his sleep. He's soft, fits well in his cage, but has a habit of chewing on him when he's scared. A corner was torn and the filling fell out of the section. Putting it through the sewing machine to sew the gap will make it last a little longer. In my defense, everything I've ever put in a dog crate was no longer junk. But for the price and convenience I think it's worth it. If I get a…

My street kitties saved!

I LOVE this product! We got it for our outdoor kitties and it has been a lifesaver. My husband built a big solid house for 4 kittens but we recently lost 2. The house is too big to just keep 2 kittens warm so we bought it to help and it works great. 2-3 full-grown fur balls fit in easily. Best of all we had a snow storm last week which caused the outside temperature to drop to -3 early in the morning (the water in the house was freezing). I ordered a fork in a heating pad to keep warm but it…

Self-Heating/Grey: Bed Mats

I bought this little drawer pad 8 months ago and thought it was time to check it out because after constant use and a weekly wash it still looks almost brand new! It's perfect for lining a crate, soft and warm but not too thick so I used a soft plush blanket for my dogs to make a little "cave". I breed animals and many dogs have slept on them. and peed on the pillow. While my beds and comforters have been chewed and torn at home, this pillow is never chewed and when chewed it holds up great…

Provides gentle warmth.

So arrived yesterday and HUGE. Love it! I bought XXLarge for my Great Pyrenees. My dog wants to be outside all the time, but I usually let him stay home at night when it gets really cold. I'm afraid I'll fall asleep one day after he's asked to come out and I wish he had something to keep him warm if it gets too cold while he's there. I live in Georgia, but it's been getting cold here lately. So I took this thing out of the box and wanted to make sure it worked. First, the fabric side is REALLY…
