Throw away your laptop's hard drive, this one works better with Windows 10. Just make sure you turn off services like Superfetch or your computers will just do something wasted. Having a hard drive for Windows 10 means 100% of the hard drive is used because there is a lot of crap installed on the Windows computer. I have NEVER had any problems with SDD, but these things shouldn't store any important information because if there is a problem, the information cannot be recovered. Because once part of an SSD fails, you can't recover the information, unlike a hard drive, where there's still a chance that the damage won't completely destroy the hard drive. The only other issue I have is with the GPU because obviously a hard running program that uses graphics intensively will impact the GPU which in itself causes a whole problem. If only we could do something about it. This product has less storage space, but storing all the data can cause problems if the device fails, so a cheaper SSD will not harm you completely. I suppose you could hybrid the two and install both an SSD and HDD, but either should work.
