Good monitor for the new Mac Mini M1

I bought this monitor to use with my new Mac Mini M1. I had no pairing problems at all. I literally just plugged it into my Mac Mini, turned it on and it worked. I'm using external speakers (connected to Mac Mini) instead of monitor speakers. As far as I can tell, the monitor's speakers seem to be working, but nothing special. I can't figure out how to increase or decrease the monitor volume. So I just ignore the monitor's speakers and use my own. I use this for work. I can't say how it performs as a gaming monitor. Overall image quality is okay for my purposes. Videos look good on it. It has enough space to open multiple applications at the same time. However, if you are a Mac laptop user and are used to the quality of the Retina display on your MacBook, you will find that the text on this monitor is not as crisp and clear as you are used to with a Mac Retina . Advertisement. However, this is not enough to violate the terms of the contract. In any case, this monitor is a good placeholder while saving you the hassle of buying a nicer monitor. If I have something to criticize, I don't know if this monitor has controls to change the brightness etc or how those controls are used. if they exist. I turned it on. It worked. That is everything I know. The monitor comes with a user manual DVD (not very useful, because who has a DVD drive these days?). Aside from a small leaflet showing how to assemble the monitor base and connect the monitor to a computer or AV system, there were no further instructions on using the monitor controls (if any) or changing any settings. I have no idea how to use the features mentioned above in the promotional offer like split screen etc. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. This is a large, sturdy monitor with a great visual landscape at a very low price. That's a great thing!
