This is a great extension cord you'll need unless you plan on running the unit with an extension cord on the floor which actually costs over $10 OR you have one of those super clean garages , in which there are no baby articles . are piling up everywhere and the car is far from pointing directly at an outlet. Mine was about 3 feet shorter so I had to run the cable through our bikes at the risk of knocking it over. That helped. I just wish they would include this in the original kit because you're going to need it. I'm giving it 4 starts because it's a $1 cable that costs $10 so it's not worth much.
