You will most likely need this

I ordered this cable along with the CTEK charger. I knew the main cable would be too short for the way I connected everything. I would like it to be 2 or 3 feet longer, but I read somewhere that CTEK deliberately designed this cable to be the maximum length. Probably for security reasons. The ends are easily connected and soldered. Color schemes match so everything looks like a single device, not an afterthought.

So far, so good. good for electricians

Just what I needed: Bought a CTEK 560352 to connect to a car battery, installed the CTEK Battery Tender on the wall next to an outlet and used an extension cord to connect the two cords. The additional resistive load due to the longer cable was an issue, but the Battery Tender has so far been able to cycle through different load/tender modes with ease. Will follow the bidding to see if the longer cable affects durability.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some little things

Brilliant. Just turn them on now.

This is a great extension cord you'll need unless you plan on running the unit with an extension cord on the floor which actually costs over $10 OR you have one of those super clean garages , in which there are no baby articles . are piling up everywhere and the car is far from pointing directly at an outlet. Mine was about 3 feet shorter so I had to run the cable through our bikes at the risk of knocking it over. That helped. I just wish they would include this in the original kit because…

Must have for '68

Must have for every CTECK user! This is on my 68 GTO and I wired it up to keep the convenience connector on the battery posts and outside the grid. All you have to do is safely guide it down and through the front grille. I fixed it so that I can easily disconnect the car from the wall charger and remove the convenience plug until I return the car to the garage. The only thing that confuses me is that there was no rubber stopper included in the kit. This is easy to fix as I removed one from the…

CTEK (56-304) Not working. Updated: Changed from 1 star to 3 stars

Great idea if the cable still worked. It has been out of service since purchase on December 9, 2020 after minor use. I still don't see a replacement on my order page. I'm not asking for a refund, I'm asking for a warranty replacement for this extension cord. It will not work if used. The CTEK MXS 5.0 works great when not connected to the extension cord, otherwise it will start blinking green indicating it is not connected to the battery. Defective extension cord. I would give CTEK a good rating

Pros
  • Nice touch
Cons

Poor connector quality, this cable cannot be relied on without DIY repair.

***See update at end*** I have a CTEK battery tender on my shelf and am using this extender to get to my car via the CTEK cigarette lighter adapter. About a day later I find the lights are blinking which indicates a bad connection. I found a problem in the connection between the main unit and this cable. The clips are tight, everything is clean and tight, but if there is a malfunction, the slightest touch restores the connection, but after a while it falls out again. It is not known why the…
