Review on Dance in Style with Molly Jane Tap Shoes: Unisex-Child Mary Flats by Dominic Maxwell

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Dimensions?!?!

Bought for my 4 year old niece who is a size 11 child size. We bought the 12.5 because her mum wanted her to have room to grow in and all the reviews said they should be bigger. mmmmm we bought the black pair and don't get me wrong the shoes are great and soft on the inside and the metal on the bottom is solid but it's too big. I fitted the shoe for my 11 year old daughter who wears a size 1 for older kids which is 1/2 inch smaller. So according to the shopping chart the tap shoes were designed for 4-8 years but my 11 year old almost fits in them. My 11 year old daughter has an average foot size for her height. I'm excited. The size is off. These are not sizes for little girls, they are for teenagers. Unless your child has big feet for their age, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're willing to play through trial and error until you find the right size. These shoes are well priced and of good quality, but without a size chart it's just not worth buying. They have no guide to rely on and Merry Christmas is so close it's not worth wasting time or going back and trying to find the right size.
