My family keeps a bird feeder near the house (2.5-3 m from the nearest window). My father is retired and spends most of his day at home so this was a peaceful activity for him. We had frequent and sometimes fatal strikes and wanted to prevent them without sacrificing the feeder. (Please note we have double glazed windows in the main room overlooking the feeder and single glazed windows in the room pictured). . No problem as there are many in the package. My family liked the variety and it was easy to install. Some are difficult to clean, but it's not impossible. In our opinion they look nice on glass, not cheap. We used a ruler to squeeze out the air bubbles and smooth them out. None of them fell. Overall they seem to reduce bird strikes, but we do hear a BLOW from time to time. Maybe they work best outdoors? Anyway, we're glad there haven't been any fatalities or serious injuries lately, just a few scratches from feathers on the glass.
