Bought these because of good reviews and price, I have a GE Smart Water System and I have always used standard size carbon filters from the big box. when they say 10" they mean 10"! Measure your old one! My old one measured 9 and 3/4, it stuck out 1/4" from the top of my canister" as far as I know nobody sells "standard" 9 and 3/4 filters, I got wet and it was me may smash it but I certainly won't buy it again.
