Review on Telescoping Multi Cart Platform – Rock 'N Roller R2RT by Ron Patel

Every musician should have one - great cart

This is a great cart. My wife and I play in a band and we have two of them. They are easy to assemble and feel quite stable. They fold up to about the size of a moving van. It would be cool if the wheels folded, but I doubt their weight would be estimated at 350 pounds in that case. We have two JBL Eon One Powered PA speakers, a 2 x 10 bass box, a bass head and a PA head (we use it as a mixer) and with these two carts we can get everything at once when we need it. We usually make a second trip to get small items like tablet holders etc, but it's good to know that we CAN get everything in one trip if needed. Even if we can park next to the stage, the carts still save me the hassle of getting people to help me get the speaker on stage because I can wheel them exactly where I need them. Before I got carts, this was usually accomplished by getting a second person to take the side of the PA speaker and/or bass amp and making multiple trips from the car to the stage. The carts turned out great. I can still play as I get older, but I don't like lugging my stuff around and these carts are a real find. They also have a rung at the bottom next to the rear wheels that makes going up and down stairs easier. The trolley can be expanded to 39 inches. I wish I had a 50" or 60" but they don't seem to cost twice as much. I can put two PA speakers on a 39" cart and it's true. Work. Also, for $69, we figured we'd be better off with two of these than one of the longer carts, especially since there are two of us. The price of $69 is a steal. You can't buy an ordinary doll for this price. Most musicians should be able to transport their amp, guitar, and cable bag on the same cart. Get one. You will not regret it. With one of these carts, you can take your $5,000 gear and drive 50 miles to make $50 like a true modern day musician. The? Can I make $50?
