I didn't have great expectations for the price, but I did have a certain utility value. It removes almost no air from the bag. I thought maybe I didn't get the direction so I searched for videos. I used it correctly. This will seal the pouch, but if you decide to vacuum seal it, good luck opening it so you can take the pouch out. You literally have to hit the sides as hard as you can and maybe it will open, maybe not, and maybe someone will pull mine out of the bin and see what I'm talking about. Don't waste money
