Review on Cuisinart DBM 8 Supreme Grind Automatic by Bob Jensen

frustrated with Cusinart - is it on the retreat?

Update: The replacement grinder I received from Cuisinart died today. I checked and cleaned the grinding chamber. I made sure the grinding wheel was free to move in the chamber and it still doesn't work. Thrown in the trash, no more Cuisinart mills. I'm glad I have a non-Cuisinart replacement grinder ready to go. Cusinart = Crapinart bought him last December and he just passed away. lack of physical activity. checks the blades to make sure they move freely. no traffic jams. I had an old one that worked for years and was disappointed that the new one didn't last long. I have another one in another house that also died. So disappointed. I've noticed the same complaints from others on the same subject. I'll call Cuisinart tomorrow. Update: I called Cuisinart. The representative was nice and said it was a guarantee. They will send me a new one. I was told I had to pay $10 to send the old one back! I protested and said I would use another carrier that was cheaper than UPS. There are no charges but I have to take it to the carrier to ship it back. Buyer Warning! You must pay to ship your broken or defective warranty product back to Cuisinart! I have a different Cuisinart technique. I don't think I will buy Cuisinart again.
