frustrated with Cusinart - is it on the retreat?

Update: The replacement grinder I received from Cuisinart died today. I checked and cleaned the grinding chamber. I made sure the grinding wheel was free to move in the chamber and it still doesn't work. Thrown in the trash, no more Cuisinart mills. I'm glad I have a non-Cuisinart replacement grinder ready to go. Cusinart = Crapinart bought him last December and he just passed away. lack of physical activity. checks the blades to make sure they move freely. no traffic jams. I had an old one…

I really regret not having kept the box to return this beast.

I wanted to love this coffee grinder. I've been using it for three weeks but I'm finally giving up. I liked that it had a bean tank, but that turned out to be the only plus. My problems were: - Noise. It's hard to describe how loud the sound is. The only thing I can compare it to is when I go to the workshop and my husband is sawing wood on a saw and I can't even call him; I just have to wait until he's done. That's the volume, and it has some of the high-quality sound of a saw, it's the LAST…

Works perfectly! in coffee, tea and espresso

They say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Well, in this case it was ruined, but it lasted for eight years! So we had to replace it, and why not use the same machine when we use it to grind our everyday coffee so successfully?! This is a very good stone grinder that we have been using for many years and now we are replacing it with a brand new one exactly the same as the previous one and hope it will last another 8-10 years. Why do we like it?* It has beautiful looks, with most of the body being

Succeeds: Stop, unsightly flyleaf.

Ever wonder what manufacturers have done with yesterday's discontinued products? For example, what did people do with the He-Man Master of the Universe toy camps decades ago? I think I found the answer. I believe they are melted down into new pieces, tied together with rubber bands, and placed in a Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind automatic stone grinder. Come on, put your DBM-8 to your ear, twist it a bit, can't you hear the plastic parts falling in? I bought one of these, but since they are such

1,406 + 1 1-star reviews

Most product reviews, both positive and negative, are subjective statements of taste that are either met or not. Preferences and preferences are debatable. Undoubted is the fact that the coffee grinder I bought stopped working 10 weeks after the first use. Dead, nothing, zero. I ground a measured amount of beans, enough for a full cup of coffee a day. I constantly cleaned the grind chamber after each use and gave the bean hopper, grind discs and grind outlet area a thorough cleaning once a…

These products are difficult to review because you get what you pay for. You can't give the Ford Escort a star because it doesn't drive like a Cadillac. :) In this case we have one of the cheapest grinders you can get. My previous coffee grind was with blade grinders. I gently shook them as I sanded to get the best evenness. I have tried 3 blade grinders in 3 years due to broken blades, lid switch etc. This time I decided to try the grinder and found this one. I wasn't willing to spend more…
