Review on Cuisinart DBM 8 Supreme Grind Automatic by Chris Meckler

Ever wonder what manufacturers have done with yesterday's discontinued products? For example, what did people do with the He-Man Master of the Universe toy camps decades ago? I think I found the answer. I believe they are melted down into new pieces, tied together with rubber bands, and placed in a Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind automatic stone grinder. Come on, put your DBM-8 to your ear, twist it a bit, can't you hear the plastic parts falling in? I bought one of these, but since they are such poorly made units, this is my third now (technically I never owned the second one). The first one broke after a few grinding operations. It lasted until today, September 26, 2019, when it stopped after several dozen attempts. RIP DBM-8. The fact is that I generally perceive Cuisinart as a quality brand. Meat grinders in all forms basically. But this experience tells me that they will put their name on the worst production junk to take your $36 and leave you with nothing. Don't buy this car. Think twice before you buy anything from Cuisinart again. Obviously the quality of the brand isn't what it used to be.
