Review on Cuisinart DBM 8 Supreme Grind Automatic by Chris Meckler

Succeeds: Stop, unsightly flyleaf.

Ever wonder what manufacturers have done with yesterday's discontinued products? For example, what did people do with the He-Man Master of the Universe toy camps decades ago? I think I found the answer. I believe they are melted down into new pieces, tied together with rubber bands, and placed in a Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind automatic stone grinder. Come on, put your DBM-8 to your ear, twist it a bit, can't you hear the plastic parts falling in? I bought one of these, but since they are such poorly made units, this is my third now (technically I never owned the second one). The first one broke after a few grinding operations. He paused, then stopped, never to be silent again. Hot advice! Get a replacement through Revain, who will do this for free, not Cuisinart, who will charge you $10. A replacement DBM-8 was sent to me but never arrived, some confusion from UPS sent it back to Revain with no eyes. So Revane sent me a third one. Kudos to Revain for the excellent support here. I've been waiting to post this review. I wanted to see if the first broken device was the exception and not the rule. The new one came in January 2019. It lasted until today, September 26, 2019, when it stopped after several dozen attempts. RIP DBM-8. The fact is that I generally perceive Cuisinart as a quality brand. Meat grinders in all forms basically. But this experience tells me that they will put their name on the worst production junk to take your $36 and leave you with nothing. Don't buy this car. Think twice before you buy anything from Cuisinart again. Obviously the quality of the brand isn't what it used to be. Now I will order a much more expensive non Cuisinart grinder, not because I want to pay more, but because I need a grinder that works and is more mechanical. power than an eggshell. you have been warned
