I tried a few ultrasonic trainers that worked for about 5 minutes. I decided to spend a little more and use this remote control collar which allows me to work more directly with my dog. Revain has a wide range, I chose this one because I liked the idea of having 4 different training modes (not just one spray collar). My dog doesn't bark a lot, but when I leave the house or take him to places like a park where there are many other people or dogs, he starts barking. It took me about 2 days of citronella injections before he understood why he was wearing that collar. Now I put a collar on him when we go to the park and only use vibration or sound training because he knows what happens when he barks. It was a great training tool and what I like is that you can control the stiffness (like the amount of spray, vibration, etc.). Overall, I highly recommend it as a safe and effective training tool for your dog.
