Camouflage Security

I'm a big fan of these camouflage safes as I find them to be an inexpensive way to provide a high level of security. When it's on a bookshelf it goes together pretty well. A would-be thief would probably need to be a thorough seeker to uncover his secrets. However, when you hold it in your hands, it's pretty obvious what it is. The "sides" are hard white plastic, so out of the box they look fake and suspicious. Additionally, due to the nature of the design (as it needs to be stored vertically) you may be limited as to what you can actually store in terms of fragile items etc. Regardless, for the price, this is still a smart item and can make a great gift! One star off for the overall design. That's good, but it could be better. Maybe add a pinch of roundness to the spine? Or add a dust jacket like a real hardcover book? Making the "sides" a bit more authentic would also add some gimmicks.

Pros
  • Lots of positive feelings
Cons
  • No performance
