The laser projection is very bright compared to my other device. This allows you to project cross, vertical and horizontal beams independently. Haven't used it for my project yet, but I'm sure it will do the trick. Minor issues don't exactly break the deal. The actual block has four unnecessary tabs at the bottom which makes using the L bracket not as smooth as it should be. As you rotate the device into position, the tabs will rub against the mount and cause it to move. Consider how much a 3mm offset affects the laser at 10 feet. I could tell the mountain wasn't square just by looking at it. The one that came with my Tacklife is better and has a small raised circular area that is the only point of contact with the device (also has stronger magnets).
