These patches slide on easy and stay in place. We use these for our 5 year old's glasses to help strengthen her other eye. I don't think they have as much block out for peripheral as for as looking up and down compared to the larger foamy patches (blocks peripheral vision on the side well) -however since these don't press against her skin , they don't bother her at all and she wears them longer with less complaining.
