I was struggling to find a mount for my PS3 Slim and since I already have a TotalMount for PS4 Slim I trusted it completely. easier with built-in bubble level. Simply hold it horizontally and screw/drill screws. But honestly, one of the best things about this mount is the screws that come with it. Its thick thread makes it almost impossible to tear or loosen the mount. As for the quality of the mount holding my PS3 Slim, which isn't exactly light (7 pounds), I have no complaints. It was a hassle to attach the straps as I needed a second pair of hands but it is very secure and I hope it doesn't go anywhere. But as a tip for those installing heavier items, make sure the adjustment buckles are closer to the top. Due to the PS3's weight, the straps inevitably got heavier, so I found that tightening the console at the top fixed it in places where gravity wasn't too much of a factor. However, I do not recommend using this mount for heavier items in general.
