We have a (large) air purifier in the kitchen/dining room that is very helpful in removing cooking odours. So we wanted to have a different air purifier/odor eliminator. We bought this unit for my teenage son's room. Looks good and serves its purpose very well. It is loud at high fan speeds, but the noise level is acceptable at medium speeds. But in sleep mode it's not noticeable at all. Has decorative lighting with 3 modes; off - single color - color change. No light in sleep mode. In addition to the useful air purification function, my son also likes the design and the modern look of the case. The unit comes with a HEPA filter installed and I will be monitoring the performance of the filters over the coming days/weeks. All in all a very satisfying purchase and we could get another one for our room. I recommend.
