Replacement straps fit well and actually snap into place when fully installed. The kit includes everything you need to remove the old tape and even new screws to attach the replacement. I only reused the old screws, but it's nice to see a full replacement set in case the screws get lost or damaged. It took me about 10 minutes to swap them out, mostly due to cleaning and removing the old glue. Good product so far but I haven't used it yet. Given how easy they are to replace, I don't understand why Fitbit doesn't offer replacement bands. They hurt their customer base by not offering a replacement. Especially when that band only costs $12.98. I hope they reconsider. I loved my Surge but refused to pay $250 to buy another one with strips that couldn't be replaced. I wish they were available before I bought my Apple Watch.
