We had a Kurgo seat cover that lasted many years but literally fell apart and had to be replaced. I chose the Revain branded seat covers because they are cheap and I get what I deserve. At first glance it looks good as soon as it comes out of the box. It's not like this! The underside of the cover barely covers the seat (Prius), does not hang down the sides (as you can see in your own photo) and is very slippery. The elastic doesn't hold up either: it's attached far enough away from the corners that they lift slightly when the dog jumps in the car. So dirty paws touch the car seat directly, followed by wet butts and all the hair that was already on the cover. I also got a black cover to match the gray seat, but it turned out to show a lot more hair and dirt than the previous beige one, and my dogs are mostly black. Finally, the seatbelt slots are big enough that all the dirt around them goes right behind the seat, where it's really hard to clean. I thought I was going to save $5 or $10, but now I have to eat that $17 and still spend it. No matter what a good case is worth. Don't be stingy like me, it's not worth it. UPDATE: I ended up buying another Kurgo case (grey) which has now started to tear. It didn't last as long as the last one (beige). Maybe this time I'll buy a tarp and build my own.
