I like that the handle is comfortable and durable in my hand. I have arthritis in my hands and severe dropsy in the mornings so I was curious how I could manipulate the eyelash clip in this device without yanking it out. So far, so good! =D Pretty, but I don't care about looks - functionality comes before fashion! That works fine. I don't get too close to the base of the lashes (this can damage the lashes and possibly pull them out), maybe in the middle? Don't use heat - I just apply eye cream and press down the center of the lashes, hold for a few seconds and bam. Lashes are ready for mascara. Curling also prevents lashes from flattening out during the day (or maybe that's the mascara I'm using).
