It was hard to find brushes with hooks at the ends (although it was very easy to find ones with holes at the end to hang them on hooks ). I set up a small wire rack on the cabinet across from the sink to hold sponges, a small vegetable brush etc and wanted the brush to hang there without giving it a countertop and sink. They work great and are very easy to put on and take off. The only downside to plates is that the brushes are very hard - they work well for cleaning a cutting board but can be a little rough on other surfaces.
