They are quite light and small, but the plastic legs came off on first use, and the bag broke after storing only a cloth hat. Now he just goes down. Also, the plastic holding the back leg broke on the second use. UPDATE: I contacted customer service via email and they were happy to send me a replacement for my broken chair. I would say be careful not to sink in the sand because the legs can come loose. They are light weight and good quality for the price, as well as good customer service if you happen to get a broken one. UPDATE #2: We received replacements for the first few chairs that broke - we thought they were just faulty. But we took new ones on a hike, and both broke the same way. The plastic holding the legs is torn. We're both well under the weight limit and trying not to crash into them or anything. Update #3 Customer service was very helpful, offering refunds and saying they are working to improve them. So overall for the price I'd say they're not terrible and do a great job on some people.
