I ordered this light to zoom into my conference calls while typing and the light can be very bright. While it holds my phone and holds it great especially when it comes to meetings and you have to type at the same time. However, I found that it can be too bright against a crisp white background, so it not only catches the eye but is meant to blur me in meetings. Luckily, you can easily dim this light when you need it. When I'm mostly in meetings for work, I wear this on soft white and it not only shows my face but also gives me some color, especially when I'm makeup-free. It fits my table perfectly and it's great because my table isn't that big. I also used this light to pluck my eyebrows and this light really helps to see each hair much better than on the window.
