The goods are usually simply thrown away, because the hassle is more expensive than sending it back. Then I put the barcode printed by my husband in the box and sealed it with tape. I should mention that I was able to just email it to him through Revain as I didn't have a printer in our room at the moment. I took it to reception and left a page with my info so they know what it is. I don't know if it was necessary but I felt better knowing something was telling the employee and UPS that it was for them and that this was my return. Next thing I know, I'm looking and UPS picked it up and put a Revain label on it. You lose a star there. Got a new pair, arrived about the same time I got back. Ideal. But this pair will not work. Took a charge on both sides, but one side disappeared within a few seconds. I had to hold the switch in the "on" position for it to light up but dim immediately. 3 (real) nails broken. So I returned this pair and a few minutes ago Revane gave me my money back. I'll order another pair later when I'm elsewhere locally. We will still be using one of these on our flight next Wednesday when we travel elsewhere. I am delighted to have them for my airplane cross stitch. He told me about it and sent me a link. She ordered a pair and loves them, no problem. She is about to order a pair for her friend in her 80s.
